I'm so nervous! I've got a job interview in the morning at 10:30 AM. I know, I should be in bed by now... but I'm so excited and nervous. GAH! I'm going to have an awful time sleeping.

This is my first interview in a few years. I did a lot of reading tonight to see what kind of questions I should be prepared for.

I really need this job! It is perfect for me - located right here in town so I wouldn't have to worry about the high gas prices.

*crosses fingers* Going to be praying extra hard tonight, for sure. I'll update this tomorrow after the interview!

Wish me luck!!

    <lj:music>some show on Animal Planet</lj:music>

Guess what I did.

It was so stupid, so absolutely idiotic.

I was working on my computer in my room... so happy was I! It was actually working like a charm for once... not putting up a fuss about connecting to the internet, or anything like that. Awesome considering it hardly ever works to connect to the internet anymore (I always have to use my Mom's laptop for that *pats laptop*).

What did I have at the computer with me? A nice, tall, cold glass of grape juice. Mmm, it was delicious. Had ice in it and everything. Normally I don't have any problems drinking by my computer - so I had the glass sitting on the keyboard tray. Then (being the dumbass that I so often can be) I forgot it was there and made a spastic movement - knocking the glass over and sending the juice flying off the back off the tray and RIGHT ON TO MY COMPUTER TOWER underneath the tray. *passes out*

Amidst many foul words, I quickly turned off my computer and unplugged it (at least I was smart about THAT, psh). Then I cleaned up the juice as best as I could - luckily none had gotten to the back of the tower where all of the cords are plugged in. BUT after I had the juice cleaned up there was still liquid dripping out from the bottom of the tower for a while. I was so freaked out, I thought it would be ruined for sure.

I called the emachines customer service line and asked them what to do and a very nice lady told me to slide off the right side of the tower and release a few clips to take the front off (I have no clue what the front is called) so I could blot up any liquid inside.

O_O Holy crap. I've never seen so much dust in my life! the bottom of the inside of my tower was COVERED with a thick layer of dust. So I took care of that and then struggled to try to get the front off... I couldn't figure it out but luckily my brother came over and helped me with it.

By this time all the juice that had made its way inside of the tower had dried up - so I used a slightly damp cloth to clean that off and then finished getting the dust off of everything and put everything back together. Waited a few hours, and (after hooking everything back up) tried to start up the computer again.

The tower and the monitor both started buzzing and the lights on the buttons to turn them on blinked rapidly at me - so I turned it off. And tried again. Everything started up smoothly that time, but the monitor kept bitching at me about checking the connection to the tower. Apparantly in my panic after spilling the juice - I managed to break off one of the spokes in the plug of the monitor (the part that connects to the tower). :( Soooo, now I have no idea if my computer is working properly or not... I won't know until I can get a replacement for the cord I ruined... and who knows when I'll be able to get to town to get one of those. *whines*

There are years... YEARS worth of files on that computer. If it is ruined I don't know what I'll do... it will be a huge blow to lose all the stories, artwork, and pictures I've had saved since we got our original computer in 1995. HOURS worth of my time went in to those stories especially. I have so many of them. And then all the artwork I've received and made over the years... and pictures I took with my digital camera (including some awesome pictures of Kloe, and some pets that we lost recently).

It has to be ok, it just has to be. If it is not.... *shakes head* It just has to be ok.

*smacks self around a bit* IDIOT!

In other news... Kadi and Mary, if you happen to read this - I'm sorry I haven't mailed out your packages yet! I hate being a procrastinator. :( I promise I'll get them out as soon as I can.

Until next time!

~Micayla

Got this bit of news from my favorite prowrestling news website: lordsofpain.net

- Sources backstage WWE are reporting that Triple H wants to become a heel and feud with John Cena. However, due to Cena's injury there have been talks about Triple H turning on Shawn Michaels to headline WrestleMania 24.

YAY!!! This is the best piece of news I've heard on that website in a long time!! Last I heard, Triple H wanted to work as a face for the rest of his career. I was so disappointed when I read that - cause he is absolutely wonderful as a heel. The greatest heel ever as a matter of fact!! And you know how I am about the bad guys... I just love them! hehe

I can't wait for this to happen if it happens. It will be so great to see Trip doing all the evil things he's so good at doing. The facial expressions, the words he uses... those gorgeous suits he wears when he's a heel... Eeeeee, I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!! *bounces*

Triple H is so sexy any way he chooses to act... but as a heel - OMG he is the sexiest man alive!! <3 And soooooo much more entertaining.

*wanders off to daydream about Triple H in his gorgeous suits*

Until next time! :D

~Micayla

    <lj:music>Some movie on IFC.</lj:music>

Afer I told my Mom about all the crap that went on earlier with Mindy... she told me some news that made me cry tears of relief!

My Aunt Connie told my Mom today that my Aunt Lori had passed along news about Star.

Star was my horse... my gorgeous black Arabian mare (with a white star on her forehead)... I was forced to sell her in February of this year when Mom and I moved away from our home in the country. There was no place to board her. This was one of the saddest times of my life, having to give up my dream horse.

Luckily... my Aunt Lori (and her husband Tommy) offered to buy Star from me so she would always be in the family. So, while it was sad... at least I would still be able to visit her once in a while (they live about 500 miles away, so it isn't often that I get to see her).

Unfortunately... Tommy took a disliking to Star. Partly because she is an Arabian, and he grew up loving Quarter Horses. The other reason is because when Star is being led, she likes to be a little ahead instead of behind whoever is leading her. (didn't bother me, I trusted her... but Tommy likes to be in the lead)

I guess recently Tommy said, "What's the point of having her if we can't ride her?" Which I don't really understand, since their other horses can't be ridden either. >_< But I guess those horses have been in Tommy's family for years, so he has that sentimental feeling towards them. But Star is a great horse.

The good news is that after Tommy said this, my Aunt Lori decided to try riding Star!! And everything went wonderfully. She said it was the most wonderful experience. I'm so glad she finally decided to try riding her... Star may not have been ridden in years, but Arabians never forget.

I was just so glad to hear this... because now maybe Tommy won't try to force Aunt Lori to sell my beautiful Star... at least not until I can find someplace that will board her for me and maybe I can buy her back.

I would be so heartbroken if they sold her to some stranger. I hope and pray that this is good news! :)

Wish I could have been there to see Aunt Lori riding Star... I bet it was a wonderful sight. <3

Thanks so much for reading! I really appreciate it.

Take care, and God bless!

~Micayla

<lj:music>none - listening to one of the horrible sequels to Dracula 2000...</lj:music>

... but I suppose I should have expected that. They don't have Gerard in them after all! He is who made Dracula 2000 so worth watching. I remember I saw it in theaters like 5 times because I thought he was so gorgeous in it...

"I don't drink... coffee." Tee-hee!!

I can't believe Halloween is on Wednesday... so soon! I wish I had something really fun to do that day... but we are just going to hand out candy here - and maybe my sister and I will take her son out trick-or-treating. Wish I could still trick-or-treat. *sniff*

I'm thinking of being an escaped mental patient. Just go out with really messy hair, dark circles drawn under my eyes - and wearing pajamas! I imagined myself wandering around town calling everyone I see, "Bob?" But I think that might lead people here to believe that I actually escaped from the institution.

Maybe I'll just be the usual. A vampiress. Hmm... we'll see.

Been having lots of fun watching all the spooky movies that have been on TV! I saw one with Nick Carter last night... that was a shocker. I never really liked him (I was a Brian Litrell fan myself lol) - but I had to see what he acted like. Not too bad, but not too good either.

Shaun of the Dead is hilarious! I've seen parts of it before... but never actually paid much attention to it. I love how he's almost always just a few feet away from a Zombie inching its way towards him... really makes you think: How hard would it be to outrun a Zombie? lol... I think even I could outrun one!

I recorded Gravedancers but haven't had a chance to watch it yet. I absolutely HAD to record it since Dominic Purcell is in it. OMG, HOT!!!!!!!!! I love that guy... especially as Lincoln Burrows on Prison Break. <3

Oh yeah! Bride of Chucky is also on the list of movies I've watched. I love Chucky movies... I really need to see Seed of Chucky (I think it was called?). I remember I had (have) this My Buddy doll from childhood... I was terrified of him cause he looked like Chucky. Eeeeeeeek! He took a few tumbles down the basement stairs if I remember correctly. My siblings and I were the ones who tried to murder the poor thing... I'm surprised he's in such good condition considering that.

I'm a huge horror movie fan if you couldn't already tell from this entry! :D Gotta figure out some other movies to watch... probably the entire Halloween series. Those are my favorite - gotta love Michael Myers!
Of course... Freddy Krueger is pretty high on my must-see list every year around Halloween too. Better get cracking and pop some corn! XD

Anyway - I've rambled long enough. Signing off for now! Have a HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!!

-Micayla

In the Black Hills... le sigh! I miss them so much... I felt so at peace there. I went to Mt. Rushmore a couple of times for concerts, went to Custer State Park to see the wildlife, went to Keystone (my favorite place... even though it is a tourist trap). I also got to ride around on my Aunt's ATV. That was a blast... I explored around her property quite a bit.
I also got to see my horse, Star. <3 It was great seeing her again and getting to spend time with her. I wish I could always be with her.
*sighs* I want to live up there someday... that land just seems to call out to me somehow. *dramatic* lol

It was really hard leaving... I cried for quite a while on the bus. I couldn't stop the tears from coming. Well, at least I got to have a couple of seats to myself this time! On the way out I had to sit next to someone... it was pretty uncomfortable. O_O

Anyway... since I've been back I've got my brother back! He came out of prison on July 17th. It's so great to have him back after 3 years... and he seems like he's really changed this time! I hope, hope, HOPE so anyway. It's been nice spending time with him like we used to when we were younger.

I've also got my sister back - along with her little boy Takoda. <lj:music>None - listening to the News.</lj:music>

It is indeed a sad time for WWE fans around the world as we heard that the amazingly talented Chris Benoit died on Monday. :(

Not only did we hear that Chris Benoit died... but his wife Nancy and his 7 year old son Daniel as well. They are saying that it was a double murder-suicide... and I'm sure many people (including myself) are shocked and in disbelief that Chris could do anything like this. To me, he always seemed like such a wonderful person - very family oriented. I can only imagine what must have been going through his head to make him do such a thing. IF he did indeed do it. :(

I wish I had appreciated him more while he was alive. He wasn't one of my favorite wrestlers - that position is of course awarded to Triple H - but I always did think he was one of the best technical wrestlers in the WWE. I always thought of him and Kurt Angle as two of the best back when they were both on WWE television. I wish Chris had had more opportunities to hold one of the major titles in WWE.

Heh, I can remember so clearly when Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko, and Perry Saturn first came to the WWE as the Radicals. They'd sit in the front rows at WWE events and cause trouble. This is one memory that stands out the most in my head from all of my years of watching the WWE.

Another memory that really stands out in my head (as I'm sure it does for most wrestling fans) is Wrestlemania 22... which they showed on Raw last night on the tribute. I remember when I watched it live - I was so touched when Eddie came out at the end and he and Chris embraced and celebrated together. :) It is a wonderful memory of two great wrestlers which I will never forget.
I will admit of course I was disappointed that my Triple H didn't retain the title at the time lol - but I am glad now that Benoit won. :)

I truly hope that Chris, Nancy, and Daniel are all in a better place now at peace. I hope that Chris and Eddie are together again - talking about all the good times they've shared! :)

Chris, you will indeed be very missed. R.I.P. to you, Nancy, and Daniel.

God Bless - everyone who reads this!
~Micayla (aero_oceana)

Edit to say: The more I hear about this story, the more saddened I become. I really didn't think Chris Benoit was capable of something so terrible. :( I still hope that he rests in peace... but with every new development I become more and more disgusted. *sighs* I keep thinking of his poor son especially... he was only 7 years old... he had much left in life to experience. And his wife... I can't imagine the fear they must have felt. I am sure they are at peace in heaven now... *sighs*
I will not edit out anything that I said in my entry... because it was exactly how I felt at the time. My opinion is changing constantly with every new report. :(
